Sally, it's probably not permanent. I experienced the same thing but it was at DS's girlfriend's house! I could hardly make the three steps from the garage to the inside of the kitchen! I nearly fell after the first step! Freaked me out but the next time I had to maneuver stairs it was much easier. Apparently it was just that day that my legs decided to be uncooperative.

I've learned not to panic when I can't do something I've previously been able to do fairly easily. 9 times out of 10 it's just that particular day. I was either experiencing something like allergies or possibly just a mild flare up of sx. I bet the next time you try the stairs they'll be easier to manage.

Just promise me one thing. That you won't try them unless someone is there with you. Deal?
