Stood at the register at two pharmacies ordering things for the I laws and myself...had to shift weight from leg to leg because of painful spasms...grrr.

Spent the afternoon in a drape-drawn house keeping cool.

B2Y, I can soooo identify When my grandson was around two, he thought it was a riot when I'd sit and OW, OW, OW, OW!!!! Not so funny to me. Don't you find this humid weather makes it all worse? Here's to cooler days with less pain.

The humid weather makes the MS, the arthritis, the IBS, and my attitude all worse. My attitude is gruesome.

LOL, I know what you mean. I'm not one to suffer in silence either.. The dog looks at me like, oh no, she's getting up again.

Well, this isn't MS related, but it's sure NOT what I needed on top of the pain caused by my MS.

On the part of my head where I get the most nerve pain (neuralgia) I have what i believe to be a cyst forming. Top of the head, to the left side, on the scalp.

It's been getting worse over the week (at first I figured it would be short lived) but it's to a point now where I can't sleep on my left side (pressure from anything gracing it/touching it is too much).

I laid awake a good while last night feeling the pain of it. So now I may have to go to the after hours clinic today to see if I need an antibiotic to try and knock it down, or if they'll have to get me under the blade to remove this sucker (wouldn't be the first cyst I've had to have removed - though the others were on my back/shoulders).

Aren't genetics and heredity fantastic? Thanks Mom for the cysts on head! Sigh... she's had her's operated on over the years with recurrence, so I'm hoping to avoid the blade at this point.

MS isn't so bad today, but isn't so great either. I blame the weather for the increase in pain. It's up and down again, cool/warm/hot, wet/dry, calm/windy.

Yay living on the East Coast.

I'm either getting a cold or am allergic to something. I have been sneezing since yesterday. Is there something blooming or growing outside that is giving anyone else these sx? I don't feel bad....no sore throat or cough. No fever. Just sneezing.

OK, Dej, Laura, Kelly and to whom else it may concern.... I have declared today a "stick it where the sun don't shine" day for all MSers and beyond.

Why should you all drag your hurting weak bodies out into that noonday sun? Give it a rest, stay in your A/C, in front of a fan, fridge or put your feet up on a block of ice.

The weather and the stagnant air out there are not good for us. We must avoid it at all costs and as much as we can.

Follow my lead..

The air is much healthier when filtered through ice cream.
