36 laps yesterday, 34 today = easier to total. Push Push Push.

Darn, this is not a good sign. I had written up a whole response to this thread, and I guess I completely closed out the window forgetting to post!

Was going well today, walked a lot, groceries, chores, spray foamed my air conditioner, since I seem to have a slight hornet problem since the new unit was put in (I hope to have fixed the issue, fingers crossed!).

Was going well until I smacked the top of my head off a wooden-frame painting (large, the whole painting, including canvas, is wood). I was left about 3 hours completely dopey/dazed, was rather concerned about my well being.

Bringing laundry up from the dryer, horrible. Thank goodness it was leftovers night. I don't know if I'd have mustered the energy to cook anything big. Did my toning exercises anyways, then after eating felt a bit better, went for a 30 min walk and felt lots better.

So lots of walking today, lots of chores, and I'm a complete klutz.

.

You hit your head? How hard did you hit it? I hope you didnt hit it so hard that your brain is wounded now. How exactly did you manage to hit painting with your head?

If you hit it really really hard tho, you might want to go see your doctor and get checked out. Head injuries are nothing to screw around with. (says the girl who's mom had a brain concussion 50+yrs ago, and has also personally had at least 3 concussions herself)

agreed! if you smacked your noggin, you may want to be checked out.

no walking today. its VERY humid here, but I have a ton of errands. House cleaning, shopping...the boy is here so that adds to the running around factor.

Erin, I was bent over picking something off the floor. I grabbed it, and straightened up, and on the up smacked my head on the frame (bottom) of the painting.

The painting juts out from the wall a bit (it's box-like, hard to describe, but imagine about a 2x2 width board that runs all the way around the painting to form the frame), so the painting isn't flush to the wall and therefore coming up from bending down (as I was right against the wall behind the couch that I had moved out at 1 end) I smacked the left side of the top of my head along the middle bottom of this painting.

No bump today, no tenderness, but I will mention it to the doctor when I see her again. In the meantime, I'll keep it in the back of my mind that I did that (smacked my head) just in case anything odd comes up otherwise.

Today's walking day.... about to head back out in fact, was out for a bit already. :) Thanks for your concern ladies! :grouphug:

@dmplaura Hope your head bump was just a glancing blow and not anything damaging. I walked into the kitchen counter the other day, right into the corner of it, and pretty much stabbed myself in the stomach with the corner. (didnt cut the skin) but it hurt like crazy, and I have a big bruise there now. I really miss being able to walk a straight line without bouncing off walls and countertops.

It's 3pm right now, and I'm still in my jammies, and not really planning on doing anything today. I probably NEED to go to the gym and walk for 20 minutes to get all my muscles in my legs loosened up. (technically, my jammies are my workout clothes. They're cut-off-into-shorts sweat pants and whatever t-shirt I was wearing yesterday. All I need is to add my bra to the ensemble and shoes and I can go to the gym)

Last couple of times I went to stand up to go do something today, I have to stand there and let all the muscles slowly let me move. Cant even stand up straight right away. I have to let everything slowly decide that it wants to/can move. I just feel so incredibly tired right now, that I dont really want to do much.

I think it has something to do with the heat today (96 deg or more today) But, I havent been outside yet today. I also havent eaten yet today, so that might be part of why I feel tired and drained.

Hopefully I'll feel like going to the gym in a little while. Not sure if I want to take a shower first, or wait till I get back from the gym if I go. (I dont do enough to need to take a shower when I'm done exercising)

I've been logging for 1000 days or so. Really helps drive when you see it on paper.
