Hi Clark, dvora had spinal disks that were herniated. She needed spine shots and a back brace. Her story is on the Welcome thread above to read if you want.

FYI: I get a steroid shot right in my top shoulder Rotator-cuff. The doctor feels for the problem that hurts and pushes. When I see stars he then puts the needle into that exact place a few times. It works like magic. Hurts like the devil but works in a day or two. I go every 6 months or more if it doesn't act up. It has been quiet for some time now, so I won't push my luck.

I had spinal cocktail Epidural shots, a Caudal Epidural block, over a few years time, all from a rear-end car accident and disk/back pain. They helped. They were all done during myelograms, under a fluoroscope, to make sure of the location in the spine spaces.
