Turned my right ankle last night stepping on a couple of rocks in some landscaping next to a parking spot I parked in last night. Almost twisted both ankles but a really nice passerby caught me.
My ankle isnt too bad. I can walk on it, but it does hurt. Resting it today.

Got my walk in this evening between rains! I was about to come home at the 2/3 point, and decided to keep going. Got the whole thing done! I don't like that it's getting dark so early mind you... I finish up work at 6:30 pm, and by the time I set out (usually around 7:15-7:30) it's already dark as heck.
Need my extra fall hour now!!!

I spent the night with a sour tummy, and it kept backwashing, so im over tired, but today is a new day! im going to keep wiggling things in public. Even if it upsets others. lol.

That's fantastic Dej!!! 3 miles is a great hike!
I woke up today feeling like crud. Slept on my neck weird or something... but it's manifested into something much worse now. Numb face/lips, nausea and hiccups, double vision and dreadful head pain. I did go out to walk this morning for 30 minutes, thinking that would help the situation, and it did, temporarily. Now I'm home and the pain's returning full, my eyes are drooping terribly as well (and I got 8 hours of sleep last night too!). Boss was understanding and I'm taking the day off. Feel like a cheese taking a day off just after having been on vacation, but you can't really plan for when you're going to be sick either.

My neck and shoulder are still killing me, but I went to spin last night. Last night was the "Moby" class. All the music was by Moby and we simply increase or decrease resistance to make our legs spin with the tempo of the music.
The idea is to always be riding at the point of endurance...with the main requirement for endurance being the desire to want to quit. So it basically means spin your legs with the tempo of the music and then turn up the resistance until it hurts to keep spinning at that speed. Then keep going until the song ends and the tempo changes. Wash, rinse, repeat for the next 45 minutes. Ouch. Might go for a ride outdoors this weekend...had a cold front roll in last night and got RAIN!!!!! Supposed to be lows in the 50s and highs in the 80s over the weekend...great riding weather. |

Took the dog for a short walk today...I'm exhausted from stress, so I'm taking it easy this afternoon.
Better than nothing, I guess

Time for a new exercise thread to begin tomorrow! Can't believe we're getting into October already... I'll be needing my exercise come October, it's my mega-over-indulgence month of the year. Scary stuff!
(Pumpkin ANYTHING = good to go!)
