Cool Laura..

Even though the temps have been mild, the Humidity has been high and it's been rainy, here in SWOhio. With the hi humidity, I cannot seem to muster the strength to do much!

And I can't seem to get enough quality sleep.

Stretch, stretch, stretch is all I seem to do right now..

Raining cats and dogs out there, and I ended up with a tummy bug yesterday and spent the day sitting on the pot. My goodness! who knew a little girl could hold so much!

So, Im running a small fever today and that means im more blind than sighted, and since i have a dentist appointment (called and they still want to see me!) to have my teef cleaned I am not pushing myself past that. I am going to be very gentle with myself today.

I hope the rest of you are wiggling things.

Came back from vacation and went spinning tuesday night. Man oh man does a week of diving and eating double desserts catch up to you fast or what?

I also started having neck and shoulder pain again tuesday morning and by yesterday morning it was bad and getting worse. I went back to the orthopedic doc yesterday afternoon and this time he took xrays and dxed it as a pinched nerve in my neck. Said I had "a lot of bone spurs in there...thank your parents for that". On the bright side, he made no mention of disk issues.

He has given me a rx for naproxen and lyrica. I am taking the naproxen, but am waiting to heard from my primary care doc on the lyrica. From reading the prescribing info, that is a kind of scary drug, and I am not sure it is right for me. Naproxen takes the edge off, but really isn't fixing anything...just covering it up for a few hours.

More trotting around town today. Had a really nice dinner of fish, veggies, and rice. Hubby and I had never cooked fish like that before (in the pan, stove top, breaded with flour, egg whites and crushed nacho chips for 'breading') but it turned out remarkably well (my parents recommended 'basa' filets. finding those were the hardest part of the dinner actually! Not many grocery stores carry basa here it seems).

So good dinner, relaxing day, did a lot of walking around town with hubby enjoying each others company .

I finally beat my boyfriend's high score at bowling on the Wii today (that took awhile!) and then I went to the gym and walked for 25 minutes (.52 of a mile!)

The walking made me feel better. My left knee has been hurting a lot lately, and because of that I've been sitting a lot. (weird that the pain is worse when I'm sitting) I went to the gym to see if the walking would stretch some of my muscles. It did, and it helped a lot!

I need to start walking on the treadmill every day. I just dont get there every day because I run out of time sometimes after my mom yells at me all day for imagined problems. (need to get her to a neuro. Think her 50+yr old head injury is turning into some sort of dementia)

I took a walk while I was still quite asleep. By the end I was awake, but it was a freaky feeling to be sorta marching around with a real brain to count on.

The change of seasons is really working on me. Perhaps I will switch to some thing indoor and calmer.

I hope you are all out there wiggling something in public.
