OK, DEJ girl,

I want to make it a point to come into Neurotalk more... so thought since that and want to make sure to get daily exercise other than my crazy hard work on my feet at my McDonalds store.... that best of both worlds I could check in here... woohooooo

I am having issues with muscle spasm pain neck and down back.... hit the ER for it and numb stuff right side... etc... as dr could not fit me in few weeks ago when so bad could not sleep... so he of course asked if I have been talked to by neuro about MS... I giggled... he looked surprised I told him how for years that is my reseached answer to my stuff... but MRI are normal etc... he said to follow up with neuro... neuro then ordered new MRI of head and neck.... to check for MS plaques as he said... finally a neuro that says it..

well not that I hope to have the stuff show... but kind of as limbo of having something for 12 years and every specialist I seen other than neuros always ask.. if I have MS... the PT over last few years says I present like a MS patient... so not to think it is in my head etc

ok sorry rambled... exercise... hehe

I biked over to my parents house to put the mail and papers in house.. they are away... the house is not far from here but it is moving.... tomorrow I will get in a walk.... hugsss all, sarah (miss you all)

Took a quick walk today - about 20 minutes -not at a fast pace. Then I went bowling tonight. I know bowling really isn't exercise but when you're laughing between frames it can be quite a work out.

I tend to disagree.... bowling is indeed exercise! Good work!

@ sabimax. Im sorry you struggle, but wiggling will make it easier. I promise.

exercise, even mild exercise has been proven to be so beneficial to the mind, the body and many diseases. it occupies your mind, gives you a goal, helps you take responsibility for your disease, instead of handing it the keys to the car. Getting out there or staying inside and pushing yourself thru a routine will teach you how to be more stubborn, will teach you how to roar and say NO! you cannot steal my day today.

I am so proud of all of you!

Yes, there are days when I cant/shouldnt get outside, but on those days I try to do something light inside. Wii, or lift cans or leg lifts from the couch, or arm stretches, and yoga stretches. There are many exercise programs for chair sitters if you google them.

please, my beauties, get out there and wiggle stuff in public!

I walked a half mile today. didnt feel great. dragged back home, but tomorrow is another day and as soon as this cold jumps off my back I am going to be right back at it.

Get wiggling!

Thanks Dej, I just have to always pace self, I work on my feet 36-40 hours a week... and then the painful neck back spasm tight stuff... so if I do too much outside work I have hard time. Gotta get moving though more, and see how body and stuff reacts... few years ago I was walking 3-4 miles a day on top of working, now I struggle with what I can do or not.

Today sun is bright, about to bake cookies for a benefit for someone in town here... young boy with brain injurys that would be a Senior this year. Baking for bake sale that is today with spagetti dinner thing.

So sunny though, making sure I get out and walk today... Dej you are right once you doing it, it feels good especially true for the mind also... get frustrated with this body but going to get a daily dose of moving other than work again!! Thanks

Painful wiggles today, and not a whole lot of them. Spent a good amount of time cooking soup and a pie today. Probably should have rested. My Trigeminal Neuralgia is flared up to high heavens - probably due to the 8 prednisone I took this A.M. (I have dreadful, dreadful side effects on oral steroids - the IV SM doesn't give such horrendous side effects).

I feel icky too, bloated like heck. My legs were feeling 'stiff' after walking around earlier and it wasn't until getting home after being out earlier that I saw how swollen my legs were around the bands of my socks.

(any tips to avoid the bloating with the steroids? or is this just something that'll pass after the medication's gone? I don't like that my legs feel stiff and are swelling up. Ankle socks and lounge pants for the next while me thinks).

@laura take a rest, feel better, and get up and wiggle.

I did a slow wiggle today. I guess I have been down and out longer than I realized. I made one mile and had alot of quit in me, so I came home. Tea is a wonderful treat!

Get out there and wiggle something in public my beauties!
