My recent episode of ON and positive Evoked response test finally gave me a diagnosis. I have gone form clinically probable To RRMS! My MRI has looked the same from 2/97 to 4/11. I have had an excacerbation in '99 and then this ON.

I hate to congratulate you for having MS, but you have had patience. I hope it stays very mild for you always.
We all need to know what is wrong with us when we don't feel well or know something is so wrong with our bodies. I'm glad you finally have a label for yours now. ![]()

ummmm....yay?
![]() Sorry you got your official "MS Club" card. The club members are all pretty cool, but the club "dues" (aka "symptoms") really really really suck.

I can't say congratulations either but I'm pleased that you no longer have to go through years of tests and years of wondering. If anything good can come out of this diagnosis, then I guess that's it.

I echo the sentiments of the others - I just think the monster you know isn't as scary as the one your mind can conjure up.
I hope that this MonSter isn't too hard on you, but at least you have some validation in your own heart now (and for those around you). I am sure that you have known this for a long time, but a definite Dx is reassuring and kinda empowering. Guessing you don't know how the hell to feel now, is it a bit anticlimactic??? Regards Lyn |
