Kelly. I'm sorry! This sounds awful. I know you don't like meds, but I wonder if there is something your neuro can prescribe for you take at night? I hope it's a pseudo flare and that it passes soon.

I totally understand! I wish I could give you a big hug. I frequently go numb in various parts of my body, but I've been blessed that it usually goes away after a few hours. A few weeks back, while I was at school, I went numb from the shoulders down. They wheeled me out of class in an office chair, down a hallway full of people. I was mortified. My dad had to come in and half carry me out to the car.

I think every part of my body has been numb at one time or another. Fortunately, only my right hand/arm have remained permanently affected. Even when my legs and feet were numb I was still able to walk. It just felt like both my legs had fallen asleep.....that pins and needles sensation. It did make it difficult to gauge whether or not my feet were firmly on the ground or not.
