I wonder if I'll be able to lift my cats? I know Gracie I won't be able to because I can't even lift her now! Tigger probably weighs 15-18 pounds and Panda is probably at least 10.

The little s***'s will be taking advantage of you. :D

nothing that weighs more than one gallon of milk...why don't you weigh yourself, then pick up the kitty, then weigh both of you? and do the same for the milk (I don't know how much in Lbs. a gallon of milk weighs). That will tell you if you'll be able to lift the kitty...

Weigh myself??!! I feel bad enough as it is! :D ;)

I know Tigger and Gracie weigh more than a gallon of milk. Panda is iffy. I never buy milk by the gallon so I'm not sure of the exact weight of it. I think I'll just refrain from lifting any of them for a while. They'll just have to adjust!

I had open brain surgery to fix an aneurysm in the heat of summer 2004 (MS Dx in 2001) and I was really worried that my MS would go crazy. I think that the surgery and the MS caused me a lot of weakness, heaviness and fatigue - but NOT a relapse.

I also had a hysterectomy and repair for a prolapse in 2007 - no dramas at all, just major fatigue.

Be gentle with yourself and you should be fine. As for the cats, tell them not to be so lazy and let them jump up to you instead :D

Wow Lynn, that is something!!!

And yes Kel, my cat used to ride around on my shoulder and I didn't put him there..:D

Wow, Lynn, I had no idea you'd been through so much. I'm happy to know you're doing well now.

Makes my procedure seem like nothing compared to what you've had. I feel very fortunate that I've found a doctor I can trust and who seems to have my best interest at heart. I'm looking forward to having it done and getting it over with.
