That's kind of funny to me, because the first neuro I saw for symptoms attributed them to 1)migraines [which I never experienced] and 2)B12 deficiency. I took oral meds and got my B12 upt to normal levels with no dissipation of symptoms...I eventually got dxd with MS a few years later...by a different neuro.

From what I understand, MS diagnosis is an elimination process. If my B12 levels go up and there's no improvement, like you experienced, and I test negative for other possibilities like Lyme disease or other auto immune diseases. then MS would be the likely diagnosis. And if the Dr had said to me, let's work on getting your numbers up because it could be the B12 but let's also continue on with testing for MS to be safe, I would have felt 100% confident that he was handling this right. It's frustrating that we go through all of these tests & pay these Dr so much money only to have them not be thorough as in both of our cases.
