Default It's Quiet In Here This Morning.........

That could be a good thing or Not..

Did you and your MS survive the Xmas Frenzy? I hope you survived and your MS didn't.
I survived, but unfortunately, so did the carpy @$%#&^* MS.

I didn't have a stress exacerbation though, thank the Lord. I had just finished one of those over the TG celebration, in the hospital. Made a strong effort, not to stress out, since I've been home.

I've been doing my PT/OT exercises every day, eating properly (along with some Chrisman junk and otherise behaving myself

I am so sorry if any of you are suffering any holiday reprocussions. And pray that the don't last long. The only thing I'm feeling is a sleepy/tired thing, but hope that passes soon.

My minivan should be coming home today with my new Turny Seat...I'll let you know how that turns out!!!

So, did ya all go back to work, back to your cacoons or back to bed? Come out and play with me, I'll give you a cookie!!!

Good Morning, Sally!

I have survived but have one day to go as SO is off today. He is under a "use it or loose it" policy. So, has been taking liberal days off. That means the laundry won't get done until tomorrow. Sad, I know.

Housekeepers should be here in 5 minutes. I hope they are late today. It is so nice here in the LR. Comfy and bright.

No damage done MS-wise just fatigue and increased twitchiness. Oh- and wordfinding is off the charts bad.

Best to us all,
ANN

Hi Sally! I'm here. Just in slow-mode today I guess.

DS28 called just a few minutes ago and invited me out to lunch tomorrow. That will be fun!

Nothing on my agenda today except taking a shower and doing a load of laundry.

I'm here, Sally! MS is just being MS for me. No major problems over the holiday and certainly much better than last year. (Exacerbation stated in the beginning of December last year). I actually took a test drive the other day and was thrilled that I could push the brake. Yahooo!!! I'm making progress from that mean flare last year. At the one year mark and still have some difficulties.

A lot of people seemed to have just disappeared. I guess it's just that time of year.

Oh and yeah for you Sally for getting your van today. You definitely need to let us know how it all goes. I think I missed which seat you got. I'll have to go back and check it out in your thread.

Have a good day!

Hi Sal...glad to hear you're getting your van with the special seat. That'll make life a bit easier...

Wow, I feel like molasses...went to work out and struggled to finish 20 minutes on the elliptical; then couldn't finish more than half of my weight machine routine before I really began feeling awful. I drove through the parking lot of the ER, wondering if I should go in. But I thought better of it and went home & rested for a bit, ate some soup and now I feel a bit better. Maybe it's just the frenetic weekend taking it's toll...or maybe it's the fudge I've been eating

I'm drained, but no exacerbation or pseudo-exacerbation. Same symptoms as before Christmas, just maybe more pronounced. In other words, I'm more tired, my legs hurt more, and my brain is foggier, but only what I expected.

We only had three people come (out of the five possibilities), and they're all adults, so it wasn't the chaos it could have been.

I had stomach flu from the 23rd through today and just starting to eat normal again. Other than that it was peachy!

My Christmas is Saturday. We have the biggest house so it's here. I am so proud of all of our offspring, they have taken over! I have one daughter who lives out of town and the other lives herein town. The one that lives out of town has the 2 grand children. They don't know if they are coming Thursday or Friday, they will leave on Sunday. So that will be my biggest drain. But those girls have a thing with their Grandpa about breakfast. They get up about 7, he fixes whatever he can find and then they watch cartoons. So we all sleep late. Since our other family members are coming in on Saturday we won't have a full house until early afternoon. I won't be able to sleep as late Saturday but by that time I will be going on adrenalin. One of my nephews in bringing his SO, they have a little baby and I am excited about meeting them.

We will finish the weekend by all going out to the cemetary on Sunday. I really wish after the second spouse dies that they could change the headstones so that they are holding hands. Dad died in 1998 and Mom died this year so they are finally together again.

So Monday I will crash! The nephew with the baby is staying at my daughters house and won't be going home until Tuesday. I will gladly give the hosting job over to her! Some how with his temperament, baby and 3 dogs and a cat I think they may go home before Tuesday!

My husband and the daughter who live here do a good job of protecting me. They let me do what I can and know that I will probably do more than I should but are prepared to take care of me when I finally collapse! My DH can be a handful at times but then he is a jewel at others.
