I'm in day 5 of weakness in left arm.. hard to use it, lift it.. very "jerky" movements.. right leg is numb from the knee down.
I can start to feel a little weakness and jerkiness in my right arm as well. Does it get to a point where it just goes away or does it continue to get worse with newer sx? I'm not dx yet but i do see my pcp on the 23rd.. Thanks for letting me vent. |

Well, for me the numbness never went away.....at least in my right hand and arm. It did get better when I had it in my legs and feet. Didn't go away altogether but it did lessen with time.
The weakness does get better for me. When my left leg started getting weak I tried to use it as much as I could. I did exercises while I was sitting such as leg lifts. Don't know if that helped or if the weakness just ran it's course and it got better despite my attempts to help it along. The way I looked at it was the exercise wouldn't hurt so I just did it. Weather plays a huge part in how my sx present themselves. This whole week has been rainy and the barometric pressure has been all over the place. I've been dizzy, weak, sleepy and fuzzy brained. Today it's sunny and I'm so much better. I've learned to take the good days as they come and make the most of them. When a difficult day comes along I usually just take it easy and remember that it's not going to last forever......at least not right now. I hope you feel better......and the doctor can give you some answers......real soon. ![]()

It sounds possible that you may be having a new exacerbation. You should call your Doc and discuss this poss ibility. He/She may want to see you now/sooner or at least medicate you, for your symptoms?
Feel better ((((MHM))))

Hi Misshaylee.
Some things resolve completely, some things improve, some things stay. In general, for me, things come and go and overlap most of the time. Fortunately, my worst symptoms have gone away. I wish the same for you. We are all different, ANN ![]() Last edited by ANNagain; 01-12-2012 at 03:14 PM. |
