Spent November and December dealing with moving my aunt into new digs and helping my mom to heal after she fell and broke both legs right before Halloween. Spent the first half of January recovering from all that, and since then it has been back on the bike.

Did three rides totalling 81 miles in January, and I am trying to make at least 2 spin classes a week, but it has been hard while trading out nights visiting mom with my sister.

I purposely made a hair appointment for 10:45 AM! I am often just getting up at 10 AM- have been known to sleep until 11! I had to set the alarm.

It was cold- up to 28 when I left the house- missed the bus again- and walked briskly two doors past the PT I see to the salon.

When I came out I was thinking of getting a quick slice of pizza or a grilled cheese. Instead I walked all the way home and had a 330 cal Lean Cuisine.

Good on all of us,
ANN

So nice to have this thread again!!

I've been attempting to work out several times a week...fatigue has reared it's ugly head tho, something to do with thyroid issues, so I get to the gym when I can.

Today I worked on an elliptical machine for 25 min. and then went over to the weight machines and worked on them for 30 min. I've been upping the amount of weight I've been lifting the past couple of weeks.

Decided on a mini walk, since my babysitter backed out last minute and I cannot stay home alone yet. I am being forced to take a long distance car ride, even tho it makes me quite car sick to be in the car. No choice. Husband feels awful about it, but also would be too worried to let me stay alone. So, walked 1/2 mile today.

Went to electrolysis person yesterday and I had a small rash from the cream she used last week. We decided to skip doing that this week, but she trimmed my hair for free! She felt horrible, and I had to calm her down. it happens.

its going to be a full day of walking to and fro, relative visits, taxes, and so on. Pray for me!

Well, since I don't do too much exercising I thought I'd at least have a contribution to this thread!!

Sally, get your cold weather vigor from hot chocolate- good chocolate and lo fat milk. Or try some hot apple cider w cinnamon. Love you, Girl.

Deijibo- I think of you every day so, of course, I am thinking of you today. I am also thinking that I have to clean my house and organize things in case I go blind. Very sorry about your car trip.

Kitty, that's a good song to hum on the bike when you have 4 minutes to go. 'Cause no matter how fast or slow you go it is still 4 minutes. Thank you.

ANN
