I sigh quite often and at one time I actually got in trouble for it at work. I printed out a bunch of documents on "Sighing and MS" but decided that even if I were to show my two idiot supervisors, it wouldn't make a difference. I guess when people sigh others must think they are upset about something. My husband used to get irritated by my sighing but once I sent him the information on how it pertains to MS, he backed off.

I've heard it described as "air hunger".
