MS doesn’t cause pain? That’s ridiculous! I don’t know how an MS doctor stays in practice with an opinion like that. I think he or she needs to live with MS for just one day. That’d change his or her tune. What your doctor is really saying to you is that he or she doesn’t understand why MS hurts therefore it doesn’t hurt - no matter what you say. That is the epitome of medical ignorance and arrogance. I’d kick this doctor to the curb. How dare he or she blow off your perfectly reasonable reports of pain? Outrageous!

The ignorance of some doctors appalls me. There are really not very good ones out there. Look for better!

even IF MS didn't cause pain, which it does, your dr should have validated you and referred you to someone who could dx this pain better.

i agree with the firing. he's a loser. try to find an MS specialist.
you can also call your local MS society and ask for MD referrals.

welcome to NT. i'm glad you found us. let us know how you're doing.

All one has to do is copy the page from the NMSS' website about pain and stick it in the doc's face...
