Is the pain mainly in the front, side or back of hip, or all over?
Hopefully that is the first thing a doctor would ask..but maybe not.

Maybe some of these yoga poses would help.
This site has photos of real people ( some sites just have drawings).
I wonder if it could be the psoas causing some of the trouble?

Well, I couldn't find them. I should have bookmarked that page but I didn't.

Jo*mar - Those are great. I do yoga stretches before getting out of bed in the morning. The gentle stretches really do help. Thanks for posting this.
