Default Neuro and PCP the same day

Two appointments, errands, and groceries...I am whipped! I've been home since 2:00 and still not recovered, not even close!

Neuro appointment was first. He gave me a prescription for Baclofen to try for the muscle spasms. I hope I don't have a bunch of side effects. I'm supposed to start with a 10 mg. tablet twice a day...I think I'm going to cut them in half to start with. I hope that's not a bad idea.

We also discussed the Copaxone situation. I'd taken it without problems for maybe 5-6 years, then it started giving me wicked anxiety--we're talking chest tightness, shortness of breath, palps, the whole nine yards. I tried again two or three times, but after a few days it was happening again.

I haven't really had a "big" exacerbation (like paralysis, blindness, whatever) nor have I really had a remission. Just the same symptoms, waxing and waning, for about 8-9 years. We're going to try a few months with no DMD's, just treating the symptoms, and see what happens MRI-wise. I thought he'd try to talk me into a different one, but he really didn't.

I'm so tired I just threw my notes and appointment cards and lab orders on the table--I'll get my brain around them tomorrow morning; tonight they just look like gibberish.
