i sometimes wonder if you guys think I am prattling on about me me me, and wonder if its the right thing to share. then I see how many are reading this thread and think...its ok. keep going. Even if its boring, and or troubling. Many others have wished they could know what this is about, and perhaps I will either save them money, or help them figure out that they need to save up and get to one of these folks. I dont know which way the blade will fall. it may be BS, it may be wonderful. Lets keep going and see.

I keep thinking of that sitcom "Frasier" with the radio psychiatrist and he would say "I'm listening". So, I'm listening....

Hey--anybody who finds it boring (or whatever) doesn't have to read it!

Week 2 Day 2.

I noticed yesterday that my face isnt nearly as red as it normally is. I have rosacea and my face lately has been looking like I am over heated. Very red in the face, and while I do get quite hot I dont sweat much, so I store heat. I was checking out the electrolysis work and noticed those spidery little veins and that harsh redness I have been sporting has really cooled. You can almost see my own complextion vs just the red face.

my sweat now stinks like the anti inflammatory stuff she is giving me. isnt it odd when your own odor changes? im like ...what is that??? and then I sniff my own underarm. ITS ME!

I slept without the xanax chaser last night. As a matter of fact I had added ativan and the occasional Klonopin to the bucket on nights when the hug is so bad I really cant sleep. My body has become adjusted to a drugged sleep, so its been a bit of an adjustment to not just grab one because I can. I am really evaluating whether or not I need one. This must mean that my anxiety is doing better, cause I have been on xanax for a long time and find I do night time panic or over stimulation attacks.

Gagged my way thru my drug ridden cream of wheat this morning. Why does some of this stuff have to taste so bad?! ruins a perfectly good bowl of cereal, but its better than putting the drops under my tongue and doing the "eeww nasty dance" for a while.

I was able to go talk to the DH outside yesterday while he was on the lawn mower. I am normally like a vampire. I see sunlight and I run the other way. The sun makes me confused, disoriented and I feel like Im going to pass out. I realized I had been in the direct sun for about 10 mins and I had not started any of my sx. I did decide to go back in the house and not push my luck.

Night sweats are about half what they were. I guess I am getting to the end of my detox run. I crank up the AC throw blankets over the cats and frosty is the word of the evening as I try to keep my body temp from soaring like it normally does at night.

I feel like I took a step forward. Maybe this is gonna help after all. Perhaps this will be the week that good things happen after dealing with a week of sweats, nausea, changing bowel patterns and choking down nasty stuff.

You know what else occurred to me? This can be your blog of experience with this and you won't have to try to remember what happened at what point in time because you have it all documented right here.
