Week 3 Day 1

Felt awful yesterday. Didnt sleep the night before, so I spend the day laying down. I did manage to sleep last night, but it was an exhausted sleep.

I had a headache last night. A visual migraine, followed by a cluster headache that lasted for hours! I forgot how miserable they used to be. I guess I had gotten used to that level of misery.

Im kinda tired of taking all these pills. I will continue, but dang!

My underarms are less swollen. I am not sure whether its that I took the day off to rest yesterday or the detox is calming. Will find out today.

Off to start this day.

Week 3 day 2

I slept and slept. Man I needed that!

I had another visual migraine followed by an actual migraine, but to be fair I really pushed myself yesterday.

My bowels remain happy. (a god send)
my underarms remain puffy (i did that sometimes before detox to be fair)
I feel like I am fighting a cold, and a sore throat.
I DO have more energy and I DO have more stamina.
I have less MS hug when I lay down.
My really sore arthritic fingers are much better.
My dropped left foot is not buzzy anymore. now and again I will feel it tingle when I am laying down, but not so much anymore.
I am sleeping without the sleeping pills most nights now.
Blind society was here yesterday and they said I had an improvement in clarity in vision since last month.
My latest Thyroid blood test came back normal. it was off before

Im off for a busy day or errands, and the rest of the week just gets crazier from here.

week 3 Day 3.

Slept and slept. Man I needed that! No more weight loss, but no more weight gain. its impressive that with my diet I weigh as much as I do.

Had a couple of light headaches, but nothing near what they used to be. I used to feel like I had a stick thru my eye.

I am having to learn to be more disciplined. I feel better so I want to play my video game till all hours, but to do that means I will tip over the edge and miss my window of falling asleep without drugs. So, I am trying to be chilled out by 8,and turn it all off at 10. then i have asked the DH to not wake me in the AM unless we have appointments. I got up at 9 today! house is quiet cause DH isnt here! he will wander in soon.

I went for a walk yesterday even tho it was 11am and mid day sun, it was not rocket hot outside, but even warm days are too much. I made the whole 3 miles without breaking down, and I didnt go badly blind. I got fuzzy vision, but not blind. I was able to recover quickly. I was amazed by that.

im off to grocery shop, pray for me.

Three miles is amazing! If I make it to the mailbox and back I'm proud. Three miles? You'd have to put me on a gurney and roll me back home.

That's amazing and I'm glad you can do it!

Week 3 Day 4

Woke feeling like my ribs were cracking. This means MS hug! Must have bad weather coming or something cause my back is in the act as well. I slept well, and it was time to get up.

I noticed I have more energy and someone mentioned yesterday that I seem to have more clarity of thought. I would easily get side tracked or lose answers before I could spit them out. I seem to be arriving at those answers more easily and confidently. Thats a huge plus. I felt like I was a smart girl trapped in a dumb girls body for a while now.

Under arms remain swollen, and a call to her revealed she is impressed my other lymphs are not swollen. My mastectomies made the removal of some of my lymph nodes a challenge when it comes to taking out the trash.

Its Jacks day to see his vet equivalent of this lady. Im off for errands.

Week 3 Day 5

Had a horrible visual migraine, followed by a real migraine that felt like I had that old burning stick in my eye again. I took drugs and went to sleep.I woke headache free.

My skin is clearly less red now. I am starting to look like a pale face again. My bowels are much better. my pain level unless in a headache is better. My stamina is starting to really pick up, and my desire to get up is rising.

I begged for two things when this started. Help my tummy. Help my eyes. Tummy has been firmly in check since week one. Eyes are still wandering around but are much better than they were. I found myself actually reading a game manual yesterday that had clues on how to help me play my video game. then later on I was busted trying to read an article in a magazine in the vets office. Been a year since I could see well enough to figure out what the article said let alone care enough to pick it up.

Perhaps this will be the week I stand up and roar. for now...I have laundry.

This is all awesome Dejibo!

So soon we forget how we adapt to and expect to wake up each morning to symptoms, up & down days and how they affected us minute to minute.

Celebrate the improvements and stick with the program; perhaps more firm in the knowing that those improvements prove that what you are doing is helping to heal your body.

Can't tell you how much I appreciate reading your day to day reports; it gives us all inspiration to do as much as we can to help ourselves. I know that it is not easy to type and read when the eyes are not cooperating.
Much appreciated.

May you have a wonderful day (yes, even doing laundry).
With love, Erika
