Got a good-sounding offer for the initial visit: $20 for 6 xrays and exam. Went for that last week and got the follow-up visit today. There are 4 areas they want to work on, and I got my 1st ever chiropractic adjustment ever. The neck was LOUD and surprised me but didn't hurt.
And the cost isn't going to hurt (too bad). $6.18 per visit after Medicare pays. I have my doubts about Medicare paying, but they tell me it does. Biggest expense will be gas. The office is 40 miles away. I was pleasantly surprised to learn from the xrays that my hips joints are in great condition. The reason I'm shorter on one leg is because my lower spine is out of kilter. The Chiro makes it clear that his work won't cure that but should keep it from getting worse. He says there always the possibility it might help. (sounds like DMDs) I'm looking forward to these adjustments!
