Ooops

I actually carry a card that my Neuro got me through the Rocky Mountain M.S. Center that states that I have M.S. which may be mistaken for drunkeness. It then lists the possible symptoms I may be having.

Yep, because U.P. here that's a sport, lol. I'm thinking of getting one of those necklace/watch I.D. tags. Alot eashier than "Offisher, really I haven't din brinking."

This has happened to me twice - once with my Mother-in-law, and once with a friend's mother. Disapproving looks and whispered accusations - behind my back. Both times, it was a beautiful, hot and humid summer's day.

Now, I come right out and say 'No, I didn't have gin on my cornflakes this morning'.

My favorite comeback would be..."Oh boy, I'd better drive, 'cause I'm to drunk to walk".

This is why my husand insists I use a cane when I'm hanging onto him, "so people will know you have a problem", he says. I also keep a copy of a letter from my neuro that excused me from jury duty because of MS in the glove compartment of my car, just in case.
