I went many years with symptoms before I got such bad eye problem that my VER was abnormal, other eye tests were also abnormal, then MRI was abnormal. I had never had an MRI before--maybe they were brand new in 27 years ago or so? Anyway, many years of symptoms, several clinical tests, then finally a positive. But that was just the beginning in learning to cope with it.
I remember years ago they predicted computers would make dx's foolproof and instantaneous. Oh how wrong that was!
