Sicky Erika picking and pecking a response to Cinder paw's mom SallyC .

Stupid hands went numb again 2 days ago. Also affecting legs/feet and back/neck so shuffling around. Mostly in the mornings, then tingling, cramping, spasms and pain-stiff for the rest of the day. Feels like the body is turning into concrete; but at least only a slight headache in the mornings.

Everything has to be done in slow motion; so taking a long time to do things...dropping stuff...and struggling to then clean up the messes. Already dropped a doz eggs onto the floor today which Willy the dog gladly helped to clean up (he only eats the yolks though) .
Guess I'll be having oatmeal after all.

Willy wll be going to the dog sitter for a few days for some fun and frolic while I go to medical appts. next week.

Had to cancel an appt for neck therapy this past Thurs because wasn't up to driving the 90 min. on snow covered roads to get there and back; but will go on Monday; even if someone has to drive me.
The other appointments that I have are also in that town, so might stay there rather than coming home in between; as more snow is in the forecast.

Hoping that the MRI work up that I've waited 7 months for and is scheduled for Wed will not get bumped due to strike action going on with hospital staff here. They cancelled non-emergency imaging (MRI, CT, X-ray) across the province for two days this week already. The workers do deserve a raise, and I support them, but I would also like to know what the MRI might reveal with respect to what is going on with this disease.

Today & tomorrow I'll be taking in a live-streamed lecture series for a course on 'Mind & Its Perceptions" that I'm taking. Interesting POVs and it is turning out to be good exercise for brain/mind while the body is resistant to exercising.

Well, that's pretty much my hand workout for the morning; took half an hour to type this and oatmeal still needs to get made .

Wishing everyone a good weekend .

With love, Erika
