DH had bad vertigo a few years ago. He went to an ears/nose/throat doctor who put him on some sort of crazy chair that rotated every-which-way and it seemed to affect the fluid in his inner ear.

I know MS is messing with you but I wonder if this sort of treatment may give you some relief.

Like a whirlpool, it never ends!

You have my sympathy--I haven't had that symptom yet and don't want it! I was the little kid who didn't WANT to spin around until I got dizzy. Hope it improves soon!

I can relate. I've been extra dizzy the past week or so. Not to the point I can't function but it's definitely worse than usual. I'm thinking I'm in a flare. I hope your dizziness gets better quickly. It's so exhausting to feel this way. Keeping your balance just takes all your energy.

I haven't had vertigo, in a long time, but I'll never forget how it feels....not funny.. I was never sicker.

The good news is.. It could mean you are still RRMS. I haven't had it since I turned SPMS.

Feel better Barb and all!!

Barb I wonder if it has something to do with your illness last week-maybe the bug got into your inner ear.
Hope you have called your doc...and that you feel better soon

Check out Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo: Link

If it seems this could be it, try the Epley Maneuver: Link

Feeling a bit better today. Certain smells are still making me nauseated.
