I wet the bed last night. It was the first time that had happened to me. I leak urine during the day, and sometimes can't get my pants down fast enough when I'm trying to sit on the toilet. So, is this a one-time thing? Just in case it isn't, I'm going today to buy adult diapers. I'd rather do that than have everything, including me, wet with urine.
My last MRI showed lesions in my C-spine, which are new. I'm going to call my neuro and leave a message about wetting the bed, because I'm not scheduled to see him for three months. Okay. Any suggestions? Thanks, friends! ![]()

Mair,
Instead of going the adult diaper route, I bought highly absorbable and washable pad for my dad. This one absorbs 1800cc's http://www.amazon.com/Reusable-Bedpa.../dp/B0002DMPFS I also bought chair covers in a light blue velour for his living room chair. Dad had had a stoke and had severe diabetes and couldn't move quickly. Still, I think it beats wearing a diaper. Mom had the pad under the sheet on Daddy's side of the bed. As far as how often this will happen to you, I think that gets back to "your MS is your MS" and it isn't easy to know. My best to you, ANN |

I had this happen for a few weeks & decided rather than get, um, pissy about it...I would go with the flow...sorry, punsville tonight...and bought several different types of the Poise brand liners. The ones with "wings" worked the best; and since there are several different kinds for different troubles (they are clearly marked on their packaging), it was easy to find out what I needed.
Don't panic about it & don't stress...it's just another day in the life of living with MS. ![]()

This started happening to me this summer!! Very frustrating/embarrassing! It happens about 3-5 times a week.
I have always worn a pad during the day for accidents. I now sleep with a poise pad on (moderate "strength" long ones) and a waterproof pad underneath me. I have heard botox can help with bladder issues? It sucks/it's MS!!! |
