Default Acthar!

So I've been going through this current flareup since the middle of October 12', it's been hell, literally. My doctor had do 3 days of IV solu-medrol, which I had gotten 4 times before for Optic Neuritis, but my body did not take to it for this flareup, it actually made the pain much much worse. So she told me about Acthar, I guess it's the "go to" medication for when people either don't take to the solu-medrol or the react badly to it. Anyhow, she it's a very expensive medication and we had to wait for it to get approved. I will be doing my last shot of it tomorrow, I'm still hurting pretty badly but not like I was before. Has anyone ever been on Acthar before? If so, did it work well for you? I'm hoping it has post usage effects and takes all the pain away!
