She got Dxed in 1992 and she died today at 70 so she was 49 when Dxed... I can't believe the wide range of people this effects....it's unbelievable, but like Cancer....I guess it doesn't care who it is. I had a cousin die at 45 due to fast and sudden cancer....and she didn't even smoke.

Annette was before my time, but my mom always liked her, always turned up the TV when Annette was doing an interview or something. I agree, she is pretty and god bless her soul right now. She gave a lot of good things to this world and many many people will miss her.

R.I.P. Annette.

I do remember the original Mickey Mouse Club.....such wholesome entertainment with the "girl next door", Annette. She touched so many while putting up the good fight. Now it's time to say goodbye...............

Default jakafi for fibro

Jakafi is used to treat fibro. I don't know much about it, except it is in clinical trials for another ailment. I talked to a doctor at Hopkins who gives it for fibro. Mariel

I also really enjoyed the Mickey Mouse Club, several of those beach movies and Annette in general. I just all the TV shows didn't focus so much on her later years & her physical condition. It reminds me a bit of exploitation. It is as if they like to show suffering (if only for the ratings bump). Sort of like how ZaZa's husband husband trotted her out to the highest bidder when she could no longer speak for herself.

I regret that last video her DH made of her. It was almost
like seeing her in her coffin. I bet she would have appreciated
a closed coffin, with a beautiful picture of her. I know that that's
the way I would like to remember her.

I agree!

There doesn't seem to ever be any middle ground in regard to the public display of people with MS. We are either shown as climbing mountains or wadded into a spastic ball.
