PBA = Pseudobulbar Affect

DMD = Disease Modifying Drug

Ayna, if you cannot rely on good care from your PCP when its needed, you need a new one. Seriously. Doctors should be there to help, not be avoided. If you feel the need to avoid any medical care person, please get them out of your life. But get yourself through this flare first!

i hope this appt goes well for you.
sounds like you might need an mri to gage any active disease going on.

you're so young and i'm sorry for that. none of us deserve this.

please take your friend with you to the appt to help you advocate and to
reinforce your sx's for the dr.

It's far from funny and is quite embarrassing so I am assuming that's PBA?


On top of all that yuck, the spasticity in my back is out of control and nonstop (which is usually a big indicator for me of relapsing) and I could sleep for 3 days straight.

I've been keeping up on me vitamins tho


I'm afraid the new neuro is going to make me do a DMD.. I can see I am progressing, I am not okay with it, but I am also not okay with poisoning my body.

I don't wanna take that road again.

I hear 'ya about not wanting to go to the ER. MSers have sensitive immune systems, who wants to catch something in the ER and make matters worse? Not I!

If DMD's aren't for you, they just aren't for you!!

Hope all goes well at the next appointment and they have some answers.

Are you able to get a new primary care physician, since they don't like you at the one you've got?
