I really need to be less anxious about the constant pain. At least when I am sleepy I can't worry too much about the pain. LOL Anyone else having the same problems? What are your solutions? |

Hi Beth..
![]() I took Paxil for years and am now on Prozac, for Anxiety/Depression. I don't chronic pain, so I don't need a Med for that. Have you considered changing to Cymbalta? I have heard that it helps with Nerve Pain as well as Depress/Anxiety. Other than making you sick and sleepy, is the lexapro helping you?

I do take Lexapro for all above. A pain doc recommended it to my MS neurologist. MS doc sent me to pain doc to rule out anything other then MS. I am more laid back but maybe it's cuz I'm so tired. I tried Cymbalta, even more sleeping with that med. I was afraid after a few days of sleeping almost constantly that I would go into a coma and never wake up. |

Thanks for the info on Effexor. I did take it back in Ohio, still had the nausea but not as drowsy as Lexapro. I will keep it in mind. Still hanging in with the Lexapro. Beth |
