Is looking around for a hand-me down AC possible? I feel for you. It is, hot out, today!

I had one, in my bedroom, that got ruined, in the fall, thanks to well, a most *sarcastically* 'wonderful' ex husband. I asked my dad, if he knew of anyone, who had a spare, but to the tune of 'Home Depot has them for good prices"

I am going to search around, even those 'good prices' are a bit of a budget stretch, right now.

I have insomnia, as it is, never mind MS, and getting a good nights sleep is a must!!

Hang in there, hoping you find an AC sooner, than later

I feel for you Wing. I actually could not live without my AC.
I woke up helpless last week, from an afternoon nap. The
AC wasn't on yet, and the heat in the house rose to 75. I
Couldn't move, hard to breath. It took me forever, just to
get on my scooter from the couch and to the hall to turn on
the AC. It was scary!!!!!

If the AC would go out during a storm, I'd have to call 911.
We haven't had a really bad storm since it gotten hot, but
I pray every day that my AC stays working.

Have the Neuro inform your Parents how important it is to
your health. The heat and humidity is brutal to peeps with
MS. When I was younger, it wasn't as awful as is is now for
me, but I must have AC.
