Don't underestimate what some women do to look younger! You may be looking at photos of women who use Botox etc.

Also you may be feeling the effects of menopause in your skin etc.

I will be 55 this year and have women I know who look a lot older than I and some that look a lot younger than I. Genetics plays a role.

You are probably not feeling any different that most of us in our 50's. We start noticing things changing rapidly. Ahhhh youth is wasted on the young.

Oil of Olay products are great! Keep your skin hydrated and healthy

Oh.....and try some Garnier BB cream (has a primer, SPF, and just a touch of color.....love this stuff! I wear it alone or under my makeup.

Well, I'm 28, feel about 70 and people tell me I look about 38. Of course, for me, I have always looked at least a few years older than I am.

Don't just grow old, grow old gracefully. When I was younger I looked older but few people believe I will be 40 this summer. I try to use things to help my skin but this MS makes it tough to stick with a good beauty routine. Do what you can and keep the stress down.

Although I hate how old I look and barely recognize myself in the mirror in most cases, except the chubby girls whose faces hold up better than the thin ones, I look about my age I guess.

There's no major beauty routine over here. I'm convinced it runs in my family, at this point. Luck of the draw, so to speak.

Well!!! Something has happened - and I don't like it at all. Until last year, when I told people my age, everyone said 'wow, you don't look it - you look heaps younger!' suddenly, that isn't happening any more - I just get "Oh, ok'.

Even worse, when I went out on a weekend, a few months ago, two completely unrelated people thought I was the elder sister when I went out with my sister (who is seven years older than me). I didn't ask - it was volunteered.

I always thought it was better to say your age than to have people think gee she looks old for a (????) year old.

Easy opinion from the cheap seats - but not so good when reality bites.

I feel I've aged greatly in the last year or so...I sometimes wonder if it's the Copaxone. It's created so many craters where I inject, I wonder if it's causing problems in the rest of my subcutaneous fat cells. I am beginning to look like my mom who smoked, ate junk food and sat all day. That's not my style, but I am beginning to look like a hag. I look in the mirror and pull my face towards my ears and I look like I did in my 30s...wish I'd appreciated my looks back then

Part of me believes in aging gracefully, but I believe those of us with MS struggle so much that the stress alone causes premature aging of our skin just as it's probably doing a number on our internal organs...I guess we should all concentrate on being able to do what we can in terms of staying active and cooking a lot of bacon
