For quite some time now I have had some altered sensation in my left foot toes that pretty much is constant. So I assume permanent damage. It feels like my toes are "slightly numb". When the doc touches them with a tuning fork (or whatever that is)....it really hurts! So my left foot toes are a bit screwed up.
With that said: sometimes they just ache like crazy. I notice that is when I will feel nerves issues elsewhere....like in the leg muscles. It will feel like a tearing sensation in the muscle....but I know it has to be a shooting pain in the nerves somewhere. I avoid getting cold feet because that seems to set it off and then my feet will feel like they are in ice. Sometimes they will tingle real bad and feel like they are hot. Now I have began noticing some pain when I walk. Like the bending of toes feels like I have irritated my foot or something. I'm wondering if its spasticity or tendons being tight. Anyone else? I noticed it in my fingers sometimes too. I think its a tendon thing.

Have you checked with your Doc about Diabetes?

My toes are also slightly numb on both feet. I do not have diabetes issues. They usually do not hurt although occasionally I will get a searing pain in my left foot.

My toes on both feet are somewhat numb. Not totally.....but enough to be noticeable.
I have spasticity in my legs and notice that sometimes - usually at night - my foot will start flexing and bend backwards toward my shin. That usually sets off cramps in my calves. I try to remember to take Baclofen at least an hour before I go to bed. I've noticed this in my hands, too. My right hand is numb but still hurts sometimes. My left hand gets deep aches in the fingers.....but that hand is not numb. No wonder nobody can figure this disease out!! ![]()
