One time I got up from the toilet, took a step or two towards the shower, turned it on and then my leg just would not move. No amount of brain signal would allow it to move. Eventually I hopped back to the toilet on the good leg and sat there until my leg wanted to work again.

Is that the same thing?

That happened when my PN was first going on. It happened on the same side that I'm having tremors in my hand.

I find myself tripping sometimes, but I have always attributed it to me just not picking up my foot. And I put that in the "I have cats" area as I step low to not step on them, but I wonder if I have just been making adjustments myself without knowing.

Well, it happened again today, this time in the dentist's office when I got up to get some x-rays made. I'm going to become know as the woman who falls everywhere she goes.

I was more aware of everything that went on in the approx. 20 seconds of this attack. It was actually my left hip that went first, followed by my left leg and left arm. It is such a painful spasm, that I have to go to the ground and onto my left side.

So, I guess it's not really a fall, but I definitely have to go to the ground. The worst part of it is the pain. My left arm is numb and the leg feels unsteady, too. My right side isn't too affected, just slightly.

Does anyone get anything like that?

Yes, it's time for a check-up, I'll be going Friday morning.
