hello and welcome to NT,

the computer doesn't know everything. i agree with trying to stay calm.
try to take just 1 day at a time and 1 test at a time. your dr sounds proactive and his plan of action is sound.

start to keep a medical file on yourself in case any other dr comes along and wants to see your test results. get copies of your mri's. they will copy them on a disc and give them to you. ask about it when you arrive.

i know waiting and remaining calm isn't easy but try the best you can. do you have a friend or family member you can confide in?
