All my girl parts are where they're supposed to be. That part of us has an amazing ability to heal well. Scars, yes, but I'm still in tact. The doc and hospital both admitted what they did to me from the get go, so that was helpful. I have pics and lots of doc notes. I'm good with documentation.

I spoke with the pain doc about a neurostimulator a couple months ago. I saw it mentioned on one of the sites I was reading yesterday, so it'll be a consideration if I can't heal on my own. The pain I'm feeling is apparently too much for my body to process. At least now I know I"m not just being a wuss about things, that the pain is just really that bad.

I guess I was confused as this did not sound like MS or a work related issue. You did not specify that this was a medical liability issue, which certainly makes a huge difference. In your case a huge settlement is warranted.

Do you have MS on top of this issue?

I was totally confused. But now I understand. I hope they settle on you enough to live like you should. You've had it hard. Life is so @#$%ing unfair.

Very shocked here to hear of your suffering, and so glad you saw a doctor with real brains and experience on such cases.
Your case is worse than fibromyalgia perhaps, but I was told by a very smart doctor that fibro usually starts with a trauma that makes muscles cramp and refuse to release. I did not have fibro but he was just talking to me while working on me to unlock pain.

This was partly just an update to say what I've been dx'ed with instead of MS. All the symptoms pointed to MS. Although I was told by one doc to get an MRI in a year. So many people come here thinking they have MS, and they really have something else, so I wanted to be able to show somebody down the road that there are other things out there.

Oh wow! I am so sorry you have had this happen tou you! I'm glad that they admitted to their wrong doing. I'm glad you found a dr that is willing to stand up for you. It's so hard to come acrossed a dr like that these days. I hope you more money then you dream of! You deserve it! I know what it's like being in pain 24/7.

WOW Chaos, glad that you have a dx now. Sounds like you know what you're doing. Hope and pray that you get relief from the pain now that you have some questions answered.
