I have my report but I can't understand what it says. I will tell you what the Impression part says:

1. means that there is longstanding inflammation in the sinuses behind your cheek and behind your nose.
2. means that there is probably a lesion next to the ventricle (another sort of fluid filled sinus in the brain); it is consistent with known MS because that is where many of the MS lesions are located and it is likely that the reason for your MRI stated that there was a suspicion of MS. No restricted diffusion means that the ventricles are not affected and appear normal. No enhancement means that the signal change that showed up is not an active lesion. Although the report says that the signal change is consistent with known MS, this does NOT necessarily mean that you have MS. There can be many other causes of a signal change that appears to be a lesion (scar), when in fact it isn't that at all. Similarly, there are many places that signal changes can show up in the brain, including next to the ventricles; and not be MS lesions. The neurologist must look at the report, the MRI and take into account your other test results and history to make a diagnosis. When do you have a follow up scheduled? With love, Erika |

The additional info just says that there isn't a mass or a tumor detected in or around the pituitary gland, that there are no signs of a stroke (infarction), and that everything is normal; except for that one 'signal change' in the right parietal lobe (part of the brain that is adjacent to the ear).
From here you just need to wait until you see the neuro. When is your appointment? With love, Erika |

You might try calling them. Sometimes it will get you in quicker than waiting for them to call you.
