I'm wondering how you are doing misshayleesmom and hope that you are holding up in the cold out east.

I came across some info while going through my tax stuff and thought that I'd pass on a link for more info to you. Both you and your daughter may be eligible for both the grant and the bond plan offered by the Canadian Gov't. It might be worth checking out because it could mean up to an additional $7,000.00/year if you both qualify...and you can go back a few years for your daughter and for as far back as your disability application is approved for. That extra $$$ might help to get you through not being able to work a little easier.

Unfortunately i don't qualify for either because the cut off is 49 years of age and I was over that even for the time I got approved for the disability tax credit for previous years.

Your bank can help you set this up once you have the disability tax credit approval.
Good luck.

Hi Erika,
We have about 20 cm of snow now with probably another 10-15 by morning.
How about you?
I'm calling the Dr. in the morning to set everything up.
I continue to have spasticity, but now I am faced with unbearable foot/leg pain.. it feels like I'm being burned/stabbed.. and it hurts to take a step on the hard floor and I'm getting cramping in my hands now.
I'm so anxious to see the Neuro! Hopefully it won't be too long.

Looks like a snow day tomorrow.
Hope you are doing well and staying warm.

Thanks for all your help
Cindy

Oh rats! I was really hoping that things would have at least settled down with the symptoms a bit for you. I'm so sorry to learn that they are instead ramping up even more.
We're good with the snow and cold...typical for here. Its got to be hard for those who aren't used to it and who live in places that don't have the infrastructure & services to deal with it.

Great that you will calling your doc to set things up. I think that it will help to put your mind at ease once its at least in the system. You should hear back from the gov't right around the April 30 tax file deadline .
Please keep us posted as to how you are doing.

I'm hoping that once the doc sees you that your appointments might get fast tracked.

Sending hugs and wishes that you get a break from all of this .

With love, Erika
