Being a bit slow here suits my style, in my old age..

BT, which has the same format, with many medical forums, has slowed down too. Some who were here went back there, but some come back here to post, once in awhile.

I had to give up chatrooms...drove me nuts, trying to keep up.

On your feet, Snoopy! I had a nap!

Sal, I have never been able to stand chat rooms. It's lunacy. I was a beta tester for a little, tiny start-up in the 80s and to get free internet (which was then exclusively black and white, text only) over my 300 bps modem, I did the testing for the chatroom formats. They were designated to topics at hand and even we college kids across the country could not keep up with each other over dial-up with modems now suitable to anchor boats!

Oh, that little start-up outfit later became known as AOL.

Did someone mention skywriting? I can do that? Pick me pick me!!!

Ok here I am here in Portland sitting in a hotel room and it's RAINING....how boring is that.

Smack me upside the head. What's wrong with me. It's Portland! It's supposed to rain! Sheesh. I must have holes in my head

It's Tovaxin shot time. Must be Portland, and it must be raining. And guess who didn't bring her umbrella. Yep you guessed it.

But I did bring my sweatshirt so I won't freeze...

LOL, that was fun, but it did take three posts, I was so ashamed!

Where you be from in MI?? I was raised in the SE but evacuated here to the west coast (Lake MI, that is).
Fear not, I am no Spartan. Almost became a Wolverine, but a scholarship elsewhere saved me from that crazy ride.

Flygirl, who cares about the umbrella!?! You have your laptop and that's all that matters! Besides, you're wash-n-wear.

You should be ashamed! At least you can hold your head high. It was a great post. LOL!

And yes, I do have my laptop. I will never leave home without it again. That was a huge mistake last weekend.

Lab rat to you, my dear. Not wash and wear

When Brain Talk was down for the summer Neuro talk was more active. I was hoping they would all stay here but a lot of them went back. I'm glad for the ones who stayed here. For some reason, I am able to realate to the ones here. I read over on BT but have not signed back up.

I post over there once in awhile, but this is home.

You guys just don't give up. Keep coming back. I got so slow here for awhile that I quit coming too, but I'm back for good now.

What post at Healthtalk are y'all talking about? I've never been there.
