Thanks, your responses very helpful.

You mentioned that your liquid LDN only lasted 3 weeks? Is that because you got the one with NO preservatives? As the pharmacy told me you can get the liquid form with or without preservatives, and the one with preservatives can be without refridgeration for 90 days. If the one without preservatives ONLY lasts 3 weeks... that is not good! I wanted to get liquid LDN with no preservatives but not if this is the case??

I will be having surgery in a couple months (cosmetic reasons), so I guess this means I will just have to make sure I do not take LDN the day before surgery? After surgery, I will not be on any drugs... no pain drugs or anything at all.... so hopefully day after surgery I can resume LDN.

I will have to double check to see how long before surgery I must stop the LDN.

I didn't discuss preservatives with the pharmacist but I had to keep it in the fridge so I doubt there were any preservatives in mine.

If I remember correctly, LDN has a short half-life (4 hours, maybe?) so I don't think you would have to stop it very far ahead of your surgery. I would ask your pharmacist rather than your doctor.

CarolM, thanks. That's crazy that your LDN only lasted 3 weeks in the fridge. How do you know it went "bad"? Did your pharmacist tell you it would only last 3 weeks?

Yes. There was an expiry date on each bottle.
