I am so glad you replied Nursemom. There is so much mis-information surrounding the flu shot and also immunizations in general. I have always had the flu shot and only once in about 20 years I had a mild case of influenza. My former MS neurologist insisted on the flu shot and my regular neurologist and my PCP now recommend the flu shot. The flu shot is cheap insurance against a full blown bad case of the flu.
