That's the big reason I take GC W/ Rasp. K. I helps to
swallow up some of the carbs/sugar/fat.

That's my story and as long as I'm not gaining,

Worked for me, anyway.
What is this? I tried looking up GC capsule on Amazon.com but couldn't find it. I tried clicking on the picture hoping it would enlarge but it didn't.

Help!!

Sally, I was trying to figure out what you were taking and could not really see it either.

I have been on a diet for the past three weeks. I have gained 60 pounds since being dx with ms 8 years ago. I have gained and lost about 40 of those at various times but a few weeks ago I was at my all time high.

I have lost 9 pounds in the past three weeks. 2.4 pounds this week. I weighed in this morning. At first I tried the Whole 30 program, but I only lasted 8 days at that. Then I joined TOPS and I am basically following a Weight Watchers diet. I am eating as much vegetables and fruits as I want and more lean protein and less bread, dairy, and other grains. I am also keeping a food diary. There's a free application called My Fitness Pal that a number of the women in my group use and I just downloaded it and started using it today.

Not being able to get fresh produce is hard. That is all I will eat. Thankfully, I can still get to the store and I have found that produce and fruit is less expensive here in Texas.

I am still working on the exercise part since any movement causes me pain of varying degrees in my back and leg. I am going to yoga now. This is going to be a long journey for me, but I am determined to eat healthier and not just lose weight but hopefully improve my overall health.

Barb, it sounds like you're doing very well on your plan. Thanks for the suggestion of My Fitness Pal. I downloaded it on my iPad and now it will be so much easier to keep a food diary.

One thing I have found is that if I need something sweet I keep frozen blueberries on hand and get a cup full of those to snack on. I keep some in the fridge, too, so they'll defrost and they're soooo good. I do the same with strawberries except they aren't as easy to eat while frozen so I keep a bowl of them in the fridge defrosted.

Why does eating have to be such an issue with me??!

Trust me eating isn't only an issue for you ... And I do hope you'll like the my fitness pal app. My DH and I both used it when he was wanting to get in shape and start eating healthier. I was less enthusiastic about using since I knew it would show what I already knew (far too few calories less than 400 was my daily intake average) the opposite was true for the DH who was eating ten times my intake at an average of 4000 or so.

But it did help us both, I started forcing myself to eat more and slimmed down a bit and my hubby started eating less and slimmed down even more , he's lost almost 60lbs since August and though we don't really use it much now that we've fallen into our habits, it was a huge initial help. I definitely like it since it doesn't exlude any types of food, just gives you calories, the primary vitamins and minerals, fats, proteins and sugar.

Works if you're going omnivore, vegetarian or vegan with your diet.

You can also add your PT exercises to keep track of those too.
