Question bolted awake trembling/ tremoring??

Hi

I have this a lot and wonder if anyone has similiar sxs.

I wake in a start or jump and feel all trembly or tremory usually on sx side.
It will eventually settle.

It can happen more then once a night and often I wake feeling icky in the head.

I often thought I have sleep siezures and have never had a sleep study (which would only work if it was in home (?) portable for me, I sleep odd hours and am a picky sleeper). eeg is it? theyre normal on me but they never do them as ordered w/ me asleep.

Im not sure the seizure feeling icky when I wake and the trembly thing are connected.

The trembly thing is so intense and wierd. Enough to make a sloth fall out of her tree tho'!

Hey thanks for input

I do wake and I'm jumpy and keep having to stretch my legs sometimes. I just chalked it up to the waterbed being off for too many nights in a row and it got cold. LOL I should know better then to think on my own.

I've had a couple seizures, medicine caused them, and don't think that's it. I've had several EEG's and a sleep study too. I did find out that a strobe can cause my left hand to tremble/tremer though.

Sometimes when I'm jumpy I feel like I was awake and just started getting jumpy. But my fuzzy brain tells me I was asleep because I can recall the dream I was having. No they never seem to match, the sx and dream, I mean.

I will jot it down for my new neuro I see next week. It makes me wonder how many other sx I have that I don't make the MS connection too.

I'm not sure I helped you out, but hope so. Please do your best to stay safely in your tree.

Default Hi Beth and 0357 :)

Beth ive tucked myself in my sloth hammock nice and snug just in case! LOL

Ya know after reading the post by 0357 about types of tremor I wonder if it is the type that happens after Ive been in one position for too (intention) long because if I suddenly move after a nap I get all tremory in my usual sx spots and its like that if I watch tv a long while and then stretch out my fingers, my one hand the one "tight" feeling finger will shake about a min or so.

I dont know its wierd.
Thanks for the replies.

You mean you don't have a seatbelt for that hammock?

I think the intention tremor is what I get if I "wrap myself like a tamale "(SO's words) and get too warm while I sleep. My head and limbs are shaky for a minute or so when I get outta bed. Kinda funny to watch me, I'm like a bobblehead Beth.

Ahhh, I am very familular to this wakeing up tremor! It's a wierd thing, for me it is worse if I fall asleep for a short period of time. I've never had an EEG or a sleep study though, doctors have suggested it but they won't follow through with a referral.
One time this tremor was so bad that I totally lost bladder control with it. Just another thing that has become a part of my life in limboland.

Me too, I think its worse when I wake up too warm I tend to pull the covers up over my head to block sound and light.

A seatbelt in my hammock LOL, I wonder hmmm....? thinking sloth...now thats dangerous!

Pat Lost bladder control too EEK ugh that will tick me off, my bladder is so punchy anyway it wouldnt surprise me.

Sloth, loads of lesions here also. I actually had one neuro say it could be that I am "coming down with arthritis" is why I had lesions. Never heard that one before. I have just gotten a new neuro after a year and a half staying away from them, jury is still out on this one, I'll know more on how she is next Thursday.
