Hi all, well I'm back from spending 4 days with daughter and 5 grandchildren! Wow those little ones make me really tired. That's why God created menopause. He knows the older we get the less we can keep up with the demands and needs of children.

Daughter just went back to work after the birth of #5. It's a struggle to get everyone out the door in the AM. However an even bigger problem is the crazy school bus schedules. When I arrived at noon, I was met by my son in-law waiting for me in the driveway, so he could return to work. The first grader was sent home with a temp and in their school district if you have a temp one day can't return to school the next day. So I was desperately needed for child care.

It sure is a lot harder to be a parent these days.

Next weekend we're off to Pgh to visit with our other daugher and 3 more grandkids. I really do enjoy these trips and spending quality and helpful time with our adult children and grandchildren.

Cherie, hope things are going better with your daughter. I'm sure you'll be extra busy with baby sitting for awhile. Betty
