I'm finally checking after the move to Ohio. And wouldn't you know it's been rainy ever since. But that's ok cuz Denver is colder and rainier. ha ha

I'm feeling like I'm not quite anywhere. I'm at my sisters, but my Dad wants me to move in with him next door. I'm thinking it's a good idea. No smoke or dogs, I'm allergic. He's going to buy a mattress for my room. Then I can start moving. Living out of a suitcase still. That is contributing to my unsettled state.

I see everyone got AMN off to a safe trek of the country. Good, good, good.

I hope all our 'sickies" are feeling better finally. How's everyone doing? Did I miss any good stuff?

Glad to be back with you all. Check in later.

Glad you made to Ohio ok. Living out of a suitcase can be a pain. I've done that soooo many times in the many years of being moved around with the military. Getting settled in one place will be the best thing for you all around.

Take care and I hope you find some peace and quiet soon! You certainly deserve it.

DM 09-18-2007 07:29 AM

I too, am glad you are safe and sound in OH, MSacorn! Take care and keep us posted when you can.

Sending healing and feel better thoughts to you Judy! take care...

How are you feeling Cheryl? You have had one roller coaster ride after another. Please take care of yourself. I worry about you...
Enjoy your time while DH is away... I know how stressed you are...
I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers and you'll always have a special place in my heart...:Wave-Hello:

AfterMyNap 09-18-2007 07:36 AM

Hi all,

Judy? Any better?

How's OH treating you, Beth?

FG, are you doing any better? I know that the loss of Gary hit you pretty hard. Been thinkin' about ya'.

Anyone seen Chris, our cheeky monkey?

What about our official Monkey, Curious?

Sorry I'm so far aout of the loop lately, I'm having way too much fun.:o

MSacorn 09-18-2007 01:08 PM

Hello :Wave-Hello:

Just thought, I'd give you the latest. I'm in my own room now at Dad's. Still unpacking and sorting to do. Looks like I just threw stuff in boxes and shipped it off. Don't know what I was thinking.

Going to go through my sisters garage and see what I left behind that she didn't sell at the garage sale. Geez!

Have an appointment via phone with my counselor on Saturday. I know I did the right thing leaving D. He always told me I've got no stress there, it's the easiest life. He was wrong. So much of what I went through is a crazy way to live. Won't bore you all with details, but suffice it to say I was really messed up to agree to that world. Although I do miss my dart friends.

I want to make a permanent break, return phone and keys to him before September ends. I was originally thinking Halloween as the deadline, but I cannot wait.

Next on my list is a car. I'm getting cabin fever and hate to be carted around, I want' my freedom. :D

Still got the headache, think it's from clenching my teeth when I sleep. I hope my counseling session will settle some things in my head and I'll be better.

FG so sorry for your loss. Prayers all around.

AMN lovin your pics and sounds like you are having a blast. So glad you went for it. Stay safe.

:grouphug: to All!

SallyC 09-18-2007 06:35 PM

I hope all will be well now that you are back in beautiful Ohio...:D

MSacorn 09-19-2007 07:10 PM

Hi Sally
Ohio is certainly beautiful this week. Last week was rainy then cold. I'm enjoying the 80 degree temps better this week. Going to soak up all the Vitamin D I can, while the sun is still shining.

How are you doing over yonder?

Taffy 09-19-2007 07:57 PM

Beth, sounds like every day with just get better and better!

DM 09-19-2007 08:36 PM

Beth" you are amazing. Keep us posted on how things are going. You ROCK!

Oh Cheryl: I know today is a hard one for you... I have had you in my thoughts today...
Sending hugs to you.

AfterMyNap 11-07-2007 07:06 PM

Well, kids, we haven't been checking on each other in an orderly fashion lately.

Anybody know what happened to Miss Chris, our cheeky chick? I miss her!

CindyLouWho was a flash in the pan, is she okay?

Sal's having a rough go just now, I'll keep praying.

DM wandered off, I'll keep laughing.

Takky is around, along with FG. Wiz comes and goes now and then.

We have several newbies aboard, Welcome all of you!

And Free/Tom has flown the coop. Fine. Just fine.

I'm okay, still pretty tired from my jaunt but making a slow comeback. Let me know how we're doing, kids. Sound off!

Snoopy 11-07-2007 07:15 PM

:Bawling: Well, not that you bothered asking about me but.....

I'm out of denial. I am having my 6th relapse.....this is just the oddest one yet. I may need to watch the Lyrica I think it's making me loopy, of course it just might be my normal ditzy self.

AfterMyNap 11-07-2007 07:25 PM

Don't be sore, loopy Snoopy, I hardly mentioned anyone, honest! I have it on good authority that you've also been struggling with a whole new level of fatigue. I'm sorry for that and this freaking attack you're in.:(

Taffy 11-07-2007 07:48 PM

Hang in there Snoopy....This too shall past...just when, don't know!

To quote someone: "Oh, shut up"

My DD was loading the dishwasher and she asked me where to put a certain pan, she should know where it goes but I told her anyway. She gave me a strange look, waved the pan and pointed at the dishwasher....oh yeah, dirty dishes. I was laughing so hard tears were rolling down my cheeks.

Fatigue, now that's an interesting one. I read where rapid weight gain is a symptom of Sleep Apnea, I just don't know how or why it happens but it did for me. My PCP kept asking me if I'm eating more....noooo, but he didn't seem to believe me

AfterMyNap 11-07-2007 07:57 PM

LOL, no, you shut up.

Sleep apnea can cause weight gain? Do you have that?

I'm just sitting here grinning at the possibility that she could have put the pan away just to be a smart aleck! (not that I'd do such a thing)

Weight gain...yeah. I had lost 45 pounds when all of this started back in 2005. I have gained back what I lost plus.....it just ticks me off

I'm suprised she didn't put it away, if nothing else my kids are smart alecks

I'm glad you're making a comeback AMN! I have 17 days left of my class, and then I'm free as a bird!!! :) I just got a new eliptical machine, and I feel like a fool for buying it. After using it once last Saturday, I'm still in pain and my walking has degraded. I don't know if I'll be able to use the darn thing, and it sure would be impossible to ship it back! :sad-dollar:

I hope you'll feel better soon. :( :hug::hug:

AfterMyNap 11-08-2007 06:10 PM

Hiya, Wiz! Good to see you. Okay, for $1500-$2200, I will gladly come down and knock you around, make you hurt, make you regret your investment, and keep you laughing the whole time! Silly, silly girl!!!

And, about to finish college no less!!!:Clever:

Wooooooo Hoooooooooo!! It's almost time! It's a great feeling and I'm borrowing it back via you! You can do it (better than you can do that maniacal machine).

SallyC 11-08-2007 10:02 PM

Easy as pie? I wish  but I do agree with your assesment of this disease :D

Wiz, WooHoo!!! Your graduating! :You-Rock:

Give the eliptical another chance, you might have overdone it :Dunno:

SallyC 11-09-2007 02:01 PM

Good Morning All. Thinking about you!!!;)

Judy2 11-09-2007 05:11 PM

I'm here!! Miz Sally, please take time to grieve. Remember how it was and still is with our lousy disease? Each loss we suffered had to be dealt with and grieved. So don't feel bad about grieving for your brother! We've all been there in some way or another. Hugs from me.

Snoopy, what a miserable thing. :( Hopefully it won't stick around long. I can empathize with the weight gain, especially since I've been in this wonderful "chair". Of course going through menopause didn't help that department at all. Seems like my whole body changed shape, gained weight where it never was before, etc. We women are so lucky! "NOT"!!!!!!!

I've been doing pretty good even without the steroids. The emotional part is slowly coming around after "Susan" too. Knew today was going to be rainy/snowy?? the minute I woke up. Ouchers and more ouchers -- it's amazing how much the weather affects me with the fibro. It was actually snowing a little, you know, the kind that almost looks like rain and is d*** damp!!

Another weekend -- yippee -- all the days are the same anymore. Take care all!!!!

Good Morning Sal, I mean Good Evening.

Glad to see you posting. I'm sure your sadness is sitting beside you today. Give the pup an extra hug. I'm glad you are not in your home alone.

Just thinking of you.

Hugs
Beth

AfterMyNap 11-09-2007 06:17 PM

Boy, Judy, you speakum good truth, squaw. The days really are the same anymore. I never have cared that much, but it really is kind of blah. Pooey.

This cheered me up today, I saw a billboard for "poopycredit.com". I like the way they think!:p

AfterMyNap 11-12-2007 12:25 PM

DM 11-14-2007 05:43 PM

Hi All! I can see I have missed alot while gone.
Sal~ Just remember the 3 T's of grief.
Time ~ Talk ~ Tears. I'm still working on it myself. Hope each day gets better for you.

Sorry you've been so loopy and poopy Snoopy. I can't take Lyrica, as it makes me really loopy. Would that make me a loopy Snoopy Groupie??:D

Hope you see this too Chris, and feel better soon.

AMN WHO????

AMN is in a foul way these days, friends. This is blind-siding me, the bod is being intensely difficult and I'm frustrated with it. I think I might have MS...

AfterMyNap 11-16-2007 11:55 AM

Good, good, Sal! Keep taking it for awhile too, okay? Do you take it regularly or only as a fixer-upper?

Thanks, Sal. I'll be okay, this crap just puts me in such a mood sometimes.

tovaxin_lab_rat 11-16-2007 12:21 PM

Cindy

I know you've had a hard time lately, and that your trip really took its toll on you. But MS? OMG! Really...

I am no where near as bad as you are physically, but you have the spirit and attitude I wish I had to keep us all going - looking for the "cindy post." You are who you are and I thank you for that! :)

Now I am going to whine for a minute --- it's raining and nasty and cold here today. AND THE DAMN FURNACE DOESN'T WORK!

We have an oil furnace and there is only one guy in this whole area who works on them. He may get to us today. MAY. Last year we had problems and it took 3 weeks. So, today is wrap up in all the blankets and close off most of the house and sit in front of the fireplace. :(

she's going to smack me, I know it!

I am glad you are feeling better and the cranberry is working. ;)
