Yea, Sally's son is home!

Sally be sure you get lots of rest today, so you'll be ready for lots of hugs and chatter tomorrow.

Good wishes for his SO's safe return. I too, wish they can all come home.

Well Jeez!! Whyyyy didn't you talk to me??? I have access to all kinds of toys!!

Now what about one of those round tubes with the sling seat inside it? That will do for the actual fishing part.

Getting over the bank and actually IN the water is different, especially if it's steep or rocky. My favorite entry tool has always been a kayak, those rotomolded plastic ones will take a beating. We used to just launch down the rocks sitting in them! They come with WIDE mouths for those of us who are...shall we say...padded with more flotation? Maine may be more progressive, we actually have stairs built into cliffsides in many spots for access. Doing the sit and bump works on them, again if there's extra rump you have padding, if no natural padding, two lifejackets work as a sit and switch ( one under, one on the step ahead)

There is always the old zipline entry! We hook you up to a harness and off ya go. There is, however, no spending time getting used to the water temp...LOL. Wetsuits come in handy.

I ain't gettin' in a river in a float tube, that's suicide, honey! I almost bought one of those little pontoon boats with oars, those little buggers really cut the water!

Oh, I'll get in the water somehow, I just have to figure out how to get back out. I've done the zipline, I've had some friends who literally picked me up in my manual chair and carried me through the woods, and other adventures. I'm no tiny thing either!

I can't move around the stream much anymore, but when I find a good hole, I just situate myself and fish it to death. For me, it's as much about being in the stream as it is about catching fish. I'm a wet-wader until it's tooooo freeeeezzzzzinggg!

Well, ya'll, it's bloody HOT here again today and noon is yet a ways off! Bleah! Humid too, me no likum this.

So what do you all think? Am I dumb as a stick? Cruise America has these wild deals in the fall to get their fleet distributed back into position for winterizing, etc. So, they have some units in Seattle and want them in MI, sooooooo, I'm thinking about flying out and getting one of those to drive it back. How sick is that?????

it's supposed to be in the 90s all this week with scattered thunderstorms...Oh Goody....Not.

Let's see, Cinders...how sick is it...how dumb are you. Only you would know that for sure. If it feels like the right thing to do, then just DO IT.. If it were me, I wouldn't do it, but then, I'm a chickenshit.

You have my blessing to do whatever makes you feel good, and that's all.

Get a minivan with lift capabilities, for future needs.
