I see everything is status quo here. Just the usual stuff. No outrageous antics, good good.

By the way, how come i didn't get the memo to meet in Cindy's garage. I would have had to decline, but it would have been nice to be included at the workbench today.

I would love some cooler weather, so those back east please send some cooler air here. They say it's cooler only 90 instead of upper 90's but enough is enough.

Lookng forward to the changing leaves in OH. Out here the trees turn yellow (aspens), no variety like back home.

Hope all of those under the weather are perking up nicely. Taffy how's the headache today?

Hi, Beth, I didn't get the memo either but that could be 'cuz I've mostly been out there lately. Hm, you sure you'd want to be treated the way DM treats people around tools? It's not good. Not good at all.

The aspens are lovely in their little clumps, but you're quite right, nothing compares to the autumn variety in this region.

Dangit, DM! Don't ever do that again!

I could use a little brainstorming if anyone's up for it.

My PCP called today. The urine culture did not show any growth so it's assumed the infection it's showing is residual and they just didn't get it all with the Macrobid....I didn't think it was gone because I could still feel the pain from it.

It is not unusual for me to have UTIs that are "difficult".....been there, had them many times. However, this one still is causing quite a bit of pain.

It was about 7 days after starting Baclofen (I have never had a problem w/Baclofen) that the UTI showed up. Part of me wants to say it's just a coincident but part of me wonders if it's the Baclofen.

Wow, LA, it's hard for me to believe that it's more than a coincidence. I've never had a UTI (knock on dm's head), but I was on Baclafen for years. Which means nothing, of course.

Just ignore me, I'm out of sorts right now.

I hope it's not the meds but have you asked your doc if it could be? Do people "get used" to Abx and get kind of immune to them?

I hope like crazy that you'll feel better soon, I know you're suffering and it's no way to live.

I'm going with my gut feeling......it's not a coincident and I'm stopping the Baclofen. I will be calling my neuro tomorrow to let him know.

Yes, you can build up an immunity to Abx but I have been on two different ones.

I can take quite a bit when it comes to UTIs, having had them quite often starting at age 4. This one has just been very different than any I have ever had. I remember reading about Baclofen and it mentioned to let your doctor know if you experience bladder or bowel problems.

Cindy, are you seeing any difference in your hand? Is it getting any better? I really hope it's not worse

I don't want to be a victom of DM and her tool torture. I rather fancy myself a superhero, UnderWoman , to save those subjected to DM's outrageous antics. At the very least I could help you clean up the mess the girls left in your garage.
