The heat is killing me, I'm also here in southeast ga, the heat isn't even the worst of it, but it's sooo humid and no breezes
![]() ![]() She's still bouncing and running around, doctor's cure for it is lots of juices, fruit and whole grains. No cheese, milk, bread or processed foods. Which works great for while she's at my house. In this heat about all I want to eat is fruit and salads. Nothing cooked... Too hot for it. But I do worry about the GB when she goes back home to mommy. My DSD doesn't have much money nor experience in budgeting so getting the kid what she needs at home, I find myself sending the GB home with little baggies of fruit and veggies from the garden.

i live in FL & have to be very careful in the heat. i need to do things in the AM & schedule appts early in the day. i drink a lot & also find that cooling collars work well.
if i don't plan well i can get almost paralyzed. i get very weak & fatigued. my vision can even change. it's just bad. and, running too many errands where i have to get in & out of the car is bad for me. take care out there guys. ps....walmart has these cooling collars & i thought they used to be about 5 or 6 dollars.

I too have the a/c set to 72!!! I even drop it down to 70 sometimes. Of course, I'm so afraid of it freezing up on me though.

I'm in GA and it's been in the mid 90's here for the past week. This weekend is supposed to be cooler (mid 80's) with lower humidity. I have been staying inside. I even cancelled an appt I had yesterday because of the heat.

Up to 98 degrees here, not including the heat index... so I have a very unhappy and ancient kitty who wants to go out to play but is being kept inside for the day. Funny how it's not only myself that needs to hibernate from the cold but, I have to force it on my 17 year old cat as well
