I'm in GA and it's been in the mid 90's here for the past week. This weekend is supposed to be cooler (mid 80's) with lower humidity. I have been staying inside. I even cancelled an appt I had yesterday because of the heat.

Up to 98 degrees here, not including the heat index... so I have a very unhappy and ancient kitty who wants to go out to play but is being kept inside for the day. Funny how it's not only myself that needs to hibernate from the cold but, I have to force it on my 17 year old cat as well . Well just what 6 more months of this and we'll be into December where it might be a little cooler... Praying for an early and freezing winter
