Hi ktandkt1,
The proper name for numbness is parasthesias which is also known as a sensory symptom. There are no medications to help with numbness. Sometimes steroids can offer relief but usually steroids don't help with sensory symptoms as was the case for you. Numbness can resolve on it's own but some have numbness as a permanent symptom <sigh>. Medication can help with pain. Quote:
